ITIL Expert Certification Course – A Fast Track Course for ITIL Certification

If students are looking for a fast track ITIL Course, then there is an option. They can avail the ITIL expert course. This course allows the students to get hold of the ITIL certification within 20 days. This course is made up of 20 days of intense classroom sessions along with self-study.  There are 3 different tracks for the students to opt for; they are Capability track, Mix track and Life Cycle Track. This certification can be achieved through workshops which consist of presentations, lecturing, exercises and mock examinations.

The Tracks of Expert Certification

As mentioned, there are 3 different tracks for the students to choose from. Here is an overview of the contents of these tracks.
  • Lifecycle Track: It consists of Lifecycle modules, ITIL Foundation and MALC. This module consists of intense classroom sessions. A certified instructor is authorized to deliver the course. Like the life cycle track, only a Certified Instructor is authorized to deliver this course.
  •  Mixed Track: Modules mixed from the previous 2 tracks, ITIL Foundation and MALC. There are candidates who want to focus on a single stream of modules. However, candidates might opt for the modules from Capability and Lifecycle tracks in order to have a holistic view..
Eligibility Criteria for the Expert Certification

There are certain requirements which the candidates aiming for this fast track certification must meet. Here they are:
  • Candidates must hold the certificate of ITIL Foundation in IT Service Management
  • A minimum of 17 credits needs to be achieved in the Intermediate and Foundation module. There are credits from the previous qualifications are also taken into consideration and are included in the required 17 credits.
  • The MALC module, which is also known as Managing Across the Lifecycle needs to be passed upon earning 17 credits. This is an important step as it will help earn 22 credits which is the minimum requirement to be an ITIL Expert.
  • Candidates must have a balanced base of knowledge covering the entire service lifecycle of ITIL.
